“Hiya Hun, you alright?”
These were the words I was greeted with upon entering my course mates flat at university some 9 years ago (boy I feel OLD just reading that) by her super smiley & funky dressed cousin Milan aka Milly- we instantly hit it off and got on great from then on. Over the years I’d see Milly maybe three or four times a year & as I got to know her bubbly character I always felt she’d make a stunning bride for some lucky fella one day!
As you can guess I was over the moon when she called me last year and said she’s marrying the man of her dreams and wants me to document her & Vic’s wedding days!
I got into Preston the day before their Registry wedding with a bunch of flowers for my friend (even though my hayfever really flared up) & we had a, slightly embarrasing, catch up amidst the final preparations!
The next day I got to the house and WOW- I’ve never seen a more elegant bride!
Bridal makeup was done by the very talented ‘Made up by Jamila’ from Zaras Bridal Studios- the bride really glowed with femininity!
I had a superb time photographing Milly & Vic’s wedding in Preston and though we were prepared for rain luckily the sun crept out for our couples session.
I will update the blog post later in the summer before their Indian wedding but for now here are some teasers from their civil wedding ceremony!
